Feedback from Phoenix Festival
Downham Nutrition Partnership has been working to encourage local organisations to work effectively together. Here is some feedback from our partners about the Festival on Saturday, 9th May, 2015
~ Thank you for involving us in today’s festivities. It was fantastic to see that everyone had put such effort into the Alice theme. It was all so well organised and attracted so many members of the public that we ran out of publicity materials. We also gained some great new members.
I look forward to next year’s event.
Regards Simone Boothe, Rushy Green Time Bank

Just a quick email thanking you all for making a great community space on Saturday; please can you pass this thanks on to all that helped.
I thought it was one of the best community outreach session that I have been involved in and I thought we worked really well together.
But a real special thanks to Ruth for bringing us all together; I know how much time and effort the whole idea was - and it really did work.

I’m definitely echoing Trevor, thanks to Ruth and Helen for the hard work put in and the marquee! It was the best one I have attended. I got a lot out of it and could spread the word about the different activities at the centre due to the steady flow of people, our marquee was definitely the busiest throughout the day.
Thanks a lot, Emma Greenslade

Absolutely agree with all, It was a brilliant attempt to allow local organisation to share awareness, happiness, and healthy messages. Lovely to be part of it.
DmN team also send a huge thank you to Ruth and Helen, the tent stood up beautifully, brought lots of attention and was well received!
Health and happiness has never been so glorious and colourful...
Best Wishes Delphine Preau, Delicious Most Nutritious
Hi everyone, glad you all had a good day and that the weather was kind to us this year! Shows what partnership working can achieve, best start thinking about a good theme for next year!
PS those who took tomatoes don’t forget they need adequate nutrition, loving care and plenty of sunlight (just like us!) though they can manage without exercise!

A great day , and a new experience for some of my young students - we travelled around the different tents trying to perform our songs and sketches against the ambient noise of the music etc and every time we came back thinking it might be quieter , the Health Tent was still buzzing with activity! Our Cheshire cat had plans to do an impromptu catexercise class but it was not to be this time...
Definitely the best - but then nothing Ruth pulls off before a night of dancing ever surprises me!
The event was very useful for GCA - Sue and Alan talked to many people helping to dispel some of the myths circulating about the closure of Goldsmiths.
Thanks for all your help too.
